Description

If they can call Prime Movers - Caterpillars, why not the other way around ? This little specimen is just not moving in the direction - I would like him to go, he's got a mind of his own, by chomping his way right through on of my pot-plants - so much that I can't tell anymore, what flower it was ? Ah well, *LIVE & LET LIVE* my very own Buddhist belief... ...not the James Bond way: *LIVE & LET DIE* Our weekend has started - soon for you as well - so enjoy; Cheers *BB*

Wish I could do that, perfect for any obstacles...or even seeing around corners ! Great macro and that splash of red really adds oomph ! Sorry 'bout your plants, but now you have all the evidence you need for the Bug Police...LOL ! Well done & ~Cheers~ :o)

Now you have a beautiful picture, instead of beautiful flowers. Maybe that caterpillar is 'playing James Bond'? He looks at you, did you noticed that? What a challenger :(

Careful, he looks dangerous. I see a gang patch on his back..."Born to Cocoon"

Nice capture. The red color in the background adds a lot of interest. I like your "Live and let Live " philosophy. Thanks for caring and for sharing. Lee

Wow! It's been years since I've grown pot plants. I'm glad that yours are thriving despite the lil' caterpillar chomping a bit of the fare. :-) Very nice shot. BTW, I'm a "live an' let live" type too.

Shots like this tell me you are more than ready for the transition to an SLR and a macro lens! You would totally rock the macro shots, just like this one! This is fabulous!

see, now here's another example of why I say you have a deep, innate design sense. It's a caterpillar, yes, and some stems---a nature shot (and a fine nature shot at that)-------but look at that big bright red arc back there! (A dish? A really bright flower pot? A space ship that landed on your property?) It just transforms this piece into a big bold abstraction, right alongside the sensitive nature-macro. It's just great back there. Lots of photographers would either tone it down or get rid of it, but something in you said "keep it," and it's just terrific. And the rest of the background is a quiet bluish gray, to balance out that red. (Along with the tan thing behind it...) A balanced and very bold shot, with big intrusions---in the best sense---and a great surrounding for a caterpillar out for a stroll after a good meal. It could almost be a caterpillar walking a tightrope between huge high rises (well, highrises made out of dayglo reds and big arches). I love this.
