Description

This artwork was done for a "20 steps to extreme realism" workshop done for ImagineFX issue 40. Nothing really too surprising about the concept - the point was to push the realism as far as I could. Done in Photoshop CS. Video making-of can be seen on the issue 40's DVD. :-)

it reminds me of a short story about a neglected half-sister who sews moths into the pattern of the lace of her sister's wedding gown. at the wedding, the moths come to life and the dress is reduced to bare tatters.

Fantastic result Marta, not too sure I would want moths in my kool Afro, but it sure beats bats in the belfry ! As I can't get my hands on issue #40, I'm guessing this is a Poser V4 with some wicked postworkings ? or was it a photo digi-fiddled ? Top shelf work & ~Cheers~ :o)
