Description
St. Uriel, Archangel of Justice, brings a message to the wildlife in the Gulf of Mexico: you are not alone. (This image is not based on any that I've seen of Uriel - this is strictly my own creation.) Dove by MelGama, oil-slicked background and effects by me in Paint Shop Pro.
What I see in pictures of what's happening to these poor creatures absolutely breaks my heart. The helplessness of the oil covered birds, turtles, etc. to escape the oil is wrenching.

You know my Beautiful. This human hand which cherishes this gold that is the money. And well little takes account of the weaknesses that bring. Nature really tastes there that too much.
