Description

Hi Everyone, here is a photo I took yesterday after standing for a half hour in one spot on the side of the road after work waiting....This is hand held, manual focus, shot number three of six. This guy was a very cooperative subject. He was curious about me and the camera. So he hovered now and then at my eye level about six feet away . Hope you like it as it sure pleased me to capture this. I had a bird visit while I was standing there as he was also hunting dragons....tomorrow I will post a photo of him as well. Thank you all for looking. -GB- Full size is a must for detail

Perhaps you smell like a beautiful Flower? ;-) Excellent one, in my opinion a great choice of the shutter speed, what do you think, if the wings would be captured frozen by 1/1000? Hmmm Your choosen speed gives the photo the needed dynamic, like it a lot! It was worth every minute you've waited for this.

Focal length of 300mm and you got this shot! You should feel very proud of this capture both on a technical level and on an artist level with that gorgeous green bokeh blur for the background. With a telephoto focal length of 300mm, this is a very, very opportune capture man- patience and dilligence for sure!
