Description

This is how it looked the view out of one of my friend Carla's kitchen-cum-living room windows, from a bit further back inside, some weeks ago. On the windowsill there was a small glass vase with some tulips her son gave her as a present. Like a mature lady is often more beautiful than in her youth, I believe their maturity adds strength to the pale purple-lilac flowers of the wisteria vine decorating the main door. As Richard (richardphotos) correctly said, it looks like a crayon box, but the vivid tapestry of flowers is mostly confined to the area close to the house, and only in the warmer season. Beyond the 'jungle' you see in the background there is an almost wild orchard and kitchen garden. Thank you for your kind comments.

Ah, so that was wisteria! I love that particular plant. It has such a great smell. And the fully open tulips add a different sort of grace. The whole image is graceful and serene. This is quite gorgeous!

This is GREAT!!! I love this! What a fantastic shot. The positioning of the objects makes for a fantastic, almost cinnematic depth of field that seems to go on forever. And I could go on about how well all the different colors bounce off each other for several pages. This is a definate favorite and a wonderful shot. This would look good on my wall, or anybody's. Brillant!
