Description
The official version was that mankind first rose to civilization in grasslands of central Nordland, but a collection of legends known as the Highland Sagas told of a time before time when the Highlands were home to a highly advanced culture.
The Ancients came from the stars and build a crystal city on the Highland Plateau, that city was found in the summer of 1986, it was dated around 45,000BCE, some 19,000 years older than the first of the city-states in the Grasslands and much more advanced.
An idea I'm working on for a story, about a colony ship that gets lost in time and end up colonizing their own planet, some 30,000 years before they left it.
