Description

This is a test render of a character I've been preparing for the wonderful, versatile Antonia-124, by odf. The building is the Sparkyworld MegaCity freebie from ShareCG. It may be ten years since I've uploaded an image here. :D I render finished or semi-finished images only rarely. I suspect the composition and lighting are far from expert here, but the real point is to showcase Antonia.

Superbe rendu. L'expression est superbe. Un rendu plus grand aurait été souhaitable pour voir les détails.

Thanks, everyone. I should have noted last night (it was late, and I was tired 😊) that I've used the "A" mapping version of Antonia here (there being two differently-UV mapped versions available). I've also used textures by BluEcho and SaintFox on the main figure. I'm hoping to be able to organize the character for upload later this week.

You are uploading her? I want her! She is perfect! She looks just like Batgirl, the original, especially her eyes! I think you really nailed it! I love that outfit to! Did you create it and if so will it be available? Your work is really good! Faved!

I've never watched the series (I think it simply didn't make it to Germany), but I came across a picture of the original Batgirl the other day, and the resemblance is uncanny. Excellent job, Sir!

I definitely plan to upload the character, although when and where are as-yet unknown. Right now I'm de-bugging, having found some frustrating problems with the cape figure while creating the test renders. AKARO and BluEcho: Thank you, about the expression. LOL I may have been thinking unconsciously about my cat, while creating the render. Batgirl is perched on a building, watching something below, almost ready to swing into action, but not quite yet. The cat gets this expression (as far as cats can do so) which seems a bit like Batgirl's expression, under those circumstances. At the same time, I think Batgirl is also thrilling at the adventure of it all, and there's a bit of that in there. Maybe. LOL odf: Germany makes me sad! :( They missed something wonderful. LOL Thank you, everyone, for the comments! :D

dadamch: I've made the costume from a second skin of Antonia. I did some shaping of the torso using the Poser Morph Tool and Wings 3D, and I also had to smooth out the navel and genitals. I painted the bump-mapping for the suit using the 3D paint features of Modo. A similar process would work on another figure, and I did do something similar with the older Vicky 1 version of the character I made several years ago. The lurex material would work on any body suit.
