My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Absolutely stellar! What a fresh POV focusing on the lovely grass with just the breath of the falls in the background! Wonderful work my friend!

Marvellous...and there I was wasting my time on the entire falls. LOL. Great job...very artistic!

Awesome shot!! I'd be too scared to get that close to the edge...heights and I don't get along, LOL.

This is an incredible shot - it's almost ethereal. Wonderful with the misty background of the falls. The grass in the foreground really gives it depth. Beautiful work! I seem to remember seeing Snoqualmie Falls as a little kid, when we passed through Washington on our way back from Okinowa, Japan. My dad was in the Air Force, and of course we moved around quite a bit. We had relatives in Portland, so we might have been going or coming from there - don't really remember. But I definitely remember the falls. A magical place..

Excellent capture, I know exactly where you were standing for that POV; it always looks so unsafe in a picture, but in reality it would be fairly difficult to fall in from there. I love the falls, in all their manifestations!

Beautiful capture. It does trigger my fear of heights, but that just makes it exciting!

Wow! Heavenly, absolutely! The first word that came to my thoughts was "mystical".... this is so lovey, it puts the mind into a trance; such an exquisitely peaceful background and scene... one can almost feel the cool, and moist breeze sweeping over one's skin.....

Fabulous shot and POV love the grass in the foreground and mist of falls in the background.. Excellent capture Tara..

Excelent capture and I so happy to see a close up version instead of the full view. Sometimes I think more exciting to look closer and just amazed by a water as hits a rocks.

Oh, I love this! The tufts of grass gone to seed is what really makes it; anybody can do a "pretty waterfall shot" as any number of calendars show us, as they hang from office cubicle walls, but to take a photo of a waterfall AND capture the extreme amount of real interest such things would possess is a rare ability. This is real ninja photographer work too, no matter how safe and stable your footing was, you show us something graceful and precarious simply by what you've chosen to see, what you've chosen to show, and it's stunning, graceful, compelling, and gorgeous...not pretty like a safe calendar still showing last month's waterfall, but gorgeous in that you really captured an atmosphere, a world, and an actual non-verbal narrative. I really like this immensely. Yeah. This is super stuff.

Magic shot--the green in the foreground simply makes the falls even more beautiful--wow!!
