Description

Song I thought up with the tone to " Down on the bayou" By Creedence Clearwater Revival But I made this up Down in the swamp where the bullfrog croak. where the swamp tembles with the sounding of alligators and bugs biteing you as they makeing sounds. The birds a singing too and the air is damp at 100 dew point. and all the sounds you hear in the swamp is sounds of life. Down in the swamp we go.... I know I no song writer but it do come from the heart. I love the swamp. I read where the Spainish was first here in Amercia they was in the swamps and feel the ground move under them as the alligators would make they sounds and it was loud. they had a lot of them back then. anyway this at Lake martin trees is cypress and this is how they grow here

Jock, your calling is the swamp. :-) You got a way of communicating with it through your lens. This is magical.

Fine foto of your favorite milieu and cool lyrics and words, but you never say anything about the movie, Southern Comfort.

The line about the bugs is WAY too familiar--they find me no matter where I am!! This is beautiful, and bugs or not, I'd love to see it.

Do you remember that song about Amos Moses? It went like Amos Moses was a cajun, lived down there in the swamp......... I think it was popular in Lafayette in the late 60's early 70.

Creedence Clearwater Revival, funny first that came to mind when I saw this. I was playing drums in a band when their album came out. I'm a real fan! I still have my drum set over 40 years old. Still play with a bunch of guys I know for the fun and joy of it. Love the capture.
