This image is certainly not the best quality, but I post it only to show that tiny yellow ball of fluff sitting twixt the adult geese. Two males and one female, absolutely devoted to each other and have been for many years . There were 6 other tiny balls of fluff but seagulls took all but this one. Yesterday, my kids and I walked through the meadows and into the woodland which runs parallel to the River Fowey though higher up. From the path we were on, one can see the Fowey quite clearly so when we heard a raucous we looked down. 3 dogs were chasing the geese and the women who were supposed to be in charge of them were finding it extremely funny. My kids did not! They ran back to the river, up to the women and tore both of them off a strip! They make me proud every time I look at them! I am hoping this little guy survives. I have kept this type of goose as pets (and guardians), and like all geese, they are the most devoted parents. All they need now is a little peace and freedom from those who don't have the sense they were born with! Thank you for taking the time to look. ^=^ (and putting up with the rant!)
