UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

From this distance it almost looks like a model train set. ;) Well captured!

Keen stuff, Bill. And here I thought tri-level highway bridges were a big deal.
MrsRatbag
I guess you'd just have to stake a spot and sit there for some time to get that elusive three-layer shot! Nicely done with one, though!

Awesome view, Bill!

OK, Bill - you've given me something to keep my eyes peeled for. Three levels of trains - that would be incredibly cool! If I remember correctly, there used to be an old round-house there before they built those flyovers. I would have loved to have been able to get some photos, but didn't have any contacts at BNSF. Oh, well.... Wonderful shot of this!

Time is money indeed. Not to mention an advantage to hauling freight by other means. Great shot!

Wonderful network and a great shot of it.

What a shot! Oh WOW! It must be quite a sight with trains on all three layers! Oooh! I love this for so many reasons and I can imagine getting lost there, photographing to my heart's content, even though I probably wouldn't be allowed anywhere near the tracks! This is super work!

I first thought it was a model. But It isnt. What a great shot it is.

Wow! This is approaching the concept of a cloverleaf for trains instead of cars.

Brilliant shot Bill. I never knew this type of flyover existed, perhaps two ways, but three!!! Well done for capturing from two miles away.

Oh dear me - I first thought it was a road fly-over and only then saw that it was for trains! What a remarkable crossing... wow... I cannot even begin to think how strong those bridges must be!!! Great image Bill!! ...as always... :)
