Description
Captured 6/5/10, at the beautiful 25th Annual HB Concours, held at the beautiful Huntington Beach Central Park in beautiful Huntington Beach, California.
This is why I love auto shows. Take an ugly -- or old, if you prefer -- duckling, invest countless hours, love, toil and big bucks into the project, and voila! We have a beautiful swan. Or at least something that looks like it came from a planet far more advanced than ours.
Much better viewed full size.
Took several shots of this marvelous and unique conveyance, so there is one more collage to post on it.
I love the steering control (wheel?), spoked wheels and bullet hubs.
Sayonara, thankx for the visit, and for any and all complimentary comments and faves.

The front end is totally awesome!!! lol Humm....think those qualify as running boards? lol Love the engine showing. :-) Nice headers to! Great shots! WOW! Thank you Harry!!! Made my day! Junichi Shimodaira's 1930 Ford Model A Tudor - The RODriguez - this car certainly demonstrates all the best tricks in the car customisers tool box! I look forward to your next great collage...

It's a pretty thing, if not terribly practical! Excellent series of shots here!

My favorite thing about this one is the color. I'm not really sure where it could go, so low to the ground. Certainly a sight to see, which I'm sure is the owners main objective. Another fine car collage.

A radical rod for sure. The fenders blow me away. Super collage. You've cornered the car show blue ribbon with this truly one of a kind.

well I see that Rob flipped out, and so did a few others...It's another phantasmagorical car set from you, and again, a major treat. And since you give us several views, we don't walk away feeling cheated. I love the capture of the chrome's contours, and the reflections esp in #2---a purple car out there, and some people walking away, one of which makes great counterpoint to the car (the person on the back of the car, on our right). And of course all that chromed-out, undulating detail. The engine shot is another of your eye-popping engine shots, with the nameplate out there for all to see (these engine shots are like big bold abstracts); I love the steering wheel too. And the final hub is a treat: I've not seen that very much. It's kind of a throwback to the Roman chariot riders, with those deadly blades in the center. Thanks for always giving us these closeups, And btw, in the top shot, there's this blue car on the left that looks like it came up from underwater, like a sub coming up for air. Man, what creatures these things are! And so many in one space. What you write, about the time & energy these show-makers put in, is really true. These shows must be great events even for people who don't know a thing about cars. I wouldn't know what to shoot next...More fine car work from you, Harry.
