I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Poppies galore. First rate POV. For some reason all my shots of this bridge are from the other side. And an official happy anniversary to you and Jo!

Amazing shot Rod, I mean really amazing. But then I'm quickly learning that your skills with a camera go far beyond the point and click most of us possess. This image moved and confused me enough to go and do some research, which confused me even more, so I hope you dont mind indulging a few questions. The first question I had, “why poppies?” I found the answer on line. The poppy flower is often used to represent sleep or death. But why does 9000 poppies represent 1000 deaths? And I found that the Allies lost a combined 5.7 million troops, not counting civilians. Is this for a specific battle? Sorry for all the questions but I wanted to find out all I could about this, and info specific to the entrance was limited. Once again great shot.

Wow...that bridge is just amazing...being able to 'walk' over the field of poppies. Wonderful shot! I've not been to this memorial, but when we were in Hawaii on our honeymoon we went to the Arizona memorial and it was kind of eerie standing there, seeing a drop of oil rise to the surface every so often, knowing it came from a ship thta was sunk so very long ago...

That's a cool way to remember the terrible toll of that war. I'm still in awe of the great lengths humans will to in order to kill each other. Wow. Superb capture.

Nice capture Rod. Wow! I boggles the mind to try to imagine all those lives snuffed out but the poppies help to put a little perspective on it though it is still hard to imagine. Thanks for sharing.

I missed this one. That's a great capture, Rod. For some reason, looking down at those poppies, it reminded me of my trip in Hawaii a few years ago. Yes, it's the USS Arizona Memorial that I saw (similar comment as Erestorfan), it was the quietness of the place and knowing how many lives were taken during that fateful day of December 7, 1941, it will make your eyes well looking down at the vessel. Thank you for sharing this wonderful capture.
