Description

Hello. Continue my Paronella park series. Jose had an idea along with his dream to convert his huge land to a theme park where ppl come and enjoy the a weekend with friends and family. It is like a social outing in the early 1900. Yep, that's old this park! Needles to say the visitors payed for the various entry. This charming almost cute structure is called the "Tunnel of love". He dug a cross the small hill what leads to the Teresa fall(yesterday picture) He carved small holes in the stone along a tunnel wall to have an inbuilt aquarium windows. Just for entertaining the visitors. Some reason the plan did not go ahead, today a batch of small collony of microbats live in the middle of the tunnel. Not allowed to take picture of the bats(need flash in the dark and bats don't like to be scared with harsh light) So here it is the entry with the ticketbox and a stone steps on the side lead upto the small balcony. Unfortunately we not allowed to go up because of the poor condition of the stone building. Have a great day and fast internet conection what I don't have...lol. I still have issue with speed...grrrr.

This is a gorgeous sight to see. Hard to believe that this is North Queensland, Australia. I was thinking Thailand. Love the moss. Dana

Makes me think of some South American place lost in the middle of the jungle and those structures to some kind of mysterious Incas's long lost place!
