I know it's a bit morbid, but I wonder what happened to the poor fellow. It's sad to think how long his wife lived without him.

Appears they were the same age...he only got 49%...she got 100%. Like this...makes you wonder.

I have two ancestors like this. He died when they were both in their twenties, from dysentery while in the army during the Civil War and she lived into her 90s. She never remarried. We have some letters they wrote to each other. The "Killed by accident" does make you wish to learn more.
