I would suggest that it is a Darner for sure, it appears to be a female and probably a Swamp Darner. If it was about 3.5" long and if you live in the Eastern half of North America, those possibilities are increased. If you post the image at BugGuide.net, I am sure someone will give you a positive ID. Nice shot. Lee
