Description
Terragen 2 – Why, you may ask did I title it after a salad green? I like to cook.
For this, I give much credit and many thanks to Volker Harun, a quiet genius who has found unique ways to use the functions. You may find his many contributions on the Planetside Forum website. I utilized part of his purely functions-based “Perlin Strata” file to create the grooves and folds you see here. Warping the terrain made them go in all directions. As well, I added a voronoi-displaced cracks clip to roughen the surfaces.
I’m not saying I’m back in the saddle again, but at least I got it on the horse.
Thanks for looking in!

I'm with bkhook... we haven't seen masterpieces like 'Mandelbrotia' or 'Phantom Gulch' in ages... Bring it back...

Great texturing!

That foreground texture is real fine. I think the greenery where it meets the mountain base needs a heavier fuzzy setting.

Well it looks like you cooked up this terrain right!!!

I'm gonna go agin bkhook et al and say, "saddle up and keep riding that TG2 buckeroo", 'cos in the end you'll emulate and even surpass the wonderfully contorted terrains you did with the World Machine / Terragen 0.9xx combination.
