Description
I was once in a dark pit, filled with so much self hate and hurt. Now I am out of it, but I come so close to the edge now and then that I had to create this to remind myself, never to go back.

Some times we need those reminders! What you do in pictures, I do in words so I have a little saying I use to remind myself. "People only disappoint us when they fail to live up to our expectations, and we only disappoint ourselves when we try to live up to theirs."

this is very dramatic and very deep feeling. There are a lot of things here that you need to remember you are not and the result of believing you are.

Thank you Shadownet for that saying, it is so very true in so many aspects of our lives. MrsLubner, I know that now, but you ever just have those moments when it seems that the world is against you and you just criticize EVERYTHING LITTLE THING that you WE THINK is wrong? This is what its suppose to represent and remind me that I am not. Thank you both! Roni

Having known you for a while now, I can clearly say you are NONE of those things! ... I value your friendship and you are such a genuinely nice person I hate that you had to go thru such shit :( I am glad you seen sense woman ;) I have not seen such an important image posted in a very, very long time. @shadownet: Very good saying, I agree completely!
