Description

My heart just goes out to all the kids growing up in broken homes, whether broken through divorce or just broken through the parents' fighting. :( I've had the idea for this image since a couple months before K4 came out, and the release of Marieah's Crying Time for Poser just sealed the image. I also played around with some DoF features I'd never used before to get the right look (in Photoshop, I mean; I wouldn't touch Poser's DoF with a hundred yard pole, I'm afraid).

Powerful, moving, image! My heart too breaks, particularly for the kids, but also for the adults that get caught up in this turmoil.

Very touching. I have been through a divorce, but fortunately no kids. My father's parents had been divorced and it scarred him deeply and he always emphasized fidelity to his children. Very clever to have the focus on the child with the parents blurred in the background.

Nice work, nice touching image, and I do want to thank you for thinking about those things as they really do happen and kids do not understand what is happening and they get terrified...I grew up with a single mother with many visitation of my dad, although I never lived with them together, I was fortunate enough that I never did see them fighting but a little.

This image really caught my attention. It's sad but it's reality. You've done a great job portraying this sad reality and having kids of my own, this really touched my heart.

Yes, yes and amen as well! I too, came from a broken home, I was four, and I think it damaged, broke us ALL - mother, father, me, siblings as well - nothing good can come of a broken home UNLESS one of the partners is excessively violent or abusive - then GO - go quickly, but otherwise - try to make it work. Brilliant!
