Description

When Aiden Conleth, the newly risen aspect of Phoenix for his world, came to Clerin, so did the elves of the Wildwood to behold the new Phoenix Risen, meeting under the roof of their mutual ally, King Perseus. Among the elves was Princess Theniyah. Even for the reclusive tribe of Wildwood elves, she had been sheltered from the outside world, her knowledge of life coming from what she could read in the palace library. But her kind heart helped to heal the weariness of Aiden's long trials, and to reclaim a sense of peace long lost to the battle hardened king. He sought to repay her by giving her what she longed for. A little excitment and adventure in her life. It started out with secret outings away from the palace and the watchful gaze of her father, the elven ambassador. But then when Theniyah showed keen interest in watching the drills of the palace guards, Aiden formed a plan. For this, he sought the aide of Captain Andromeda. Under cover of night, while her father was sleeping off the hospitality of King Perseus, Aiden smuggled the princess out from her chamber and to the practice yard. There Andromeda presented the princess with a sword of her own, crafted for her by the king's greatest swordsmith. Along with it came the offer "Would you care to learn how to use it?" Gleefully the princess accepted. And so for many nights to come, Andromeda and Aiden would secretly tutor the elven maiden in the art of the sword. Two more characters from mine and Stacey's twisted roleplay come to life from a scene we've planned out. Also an excuse to play with these awesome swords by blbarrett, one of which I had the privledge of testing in Daz Studio! The Blade of Prophecy II was chosen to be the source of Aiden's powers. The Blade of the Sea became Andromeda's on taking up the rank of Captain of the Guard. And as soon as we cooked up the storyline about the gift of the sword to the elven princess, we knew that the Blade of the Forest would be that sword, even when it existed only as a concept sketch in blbarrett's gallery.
