Afternoon all :o)
First up may I wish Andrea a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY (durleybeachbum) .I`ve posted this just because I`d remembered that I had this shot from last week and seeing Andrea`s yesterday and today prompted my thought process .Its terrible getting old you know lol :o)

VERY cool! Excellent shot! Do you know what these damsel flies start out as? Ant Lions. They live in the ground and form cone shaped pit in soft sand - kind of like that monster in the desert in the Star Wars movie - and when a hapless ant comes along the loose sand causes it to slide down to the bottom of the pit where the ant lion grabs it with it's jaws and devours it.
