Description

Early summer / late spring in the valley... Reworked (very much so) version of an old scene - this one is so much better IMHO :) Vue Complete 8.4 render, minor touch-up with Photoshop. Are the pines in the background rendered (which, if so, they are masterful!)or are they a photo backdrop? The grass with its scattered flowers is perfect; absolutely convincing in its realism. The shadows are excellent as they denote mid spring, which is the same time that the cowsbane comes out; although the white in the ditch on the right may actually be ox-eye daisies. Is the house model your own design, or is it one of Svenart's models. I used one of his in an autumn render that I produced some time ago. Gosh, I wish I could justify buying Vue! I cannot see room for improvement, so I have given this painting a score of '5'
