Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Great shot. I hope they are not sailing where I live, or they are fast approaching another 100 year storm! Looking out the window here the weather is horrid.

With the sail emanating a neon effect, you won't get caught singing the blues in this stellar postworked piece, M!

You should really fiddle around with images a lot more! Oh, I know that you will. The result of your fiddling is quite amazing. I love the way that blue just pops out of the sail, and the reflection of it is just as cool. Everything in the image is just nicely dreamy, which I like. It's the color though, wow...it just pops and sizzles, not in an overheated way, but more like ginger ale on a hot day, if you're like me and love ginger ale! I really like this.
