Description

This is from Sunday, after the sandcastles. The Strand a popular spot. One pic has Ike's water line. The big chess board. The Trumpet. And some great architecture. Couple more days vacation... Easy day today, went to chiropractor yesterday. Smile... :)

Funny, but I didn't venture down to The Strand while there. We drove right past it. :-) I was there when my son got married in the Catholic church there and we had a nice little reception upstairs in one of the historical buildings. But it was turned into something rather tourist-like and being from the area, all those trappings and ways to get my money seemed to hold me off. I see that I missed a lot of really cool stuff with my hard-headed attitude! Love the collage. (I saw several buildings with those water marks and it was sad to think The Island was covered so completely with ocean)

I see I'll have to spend a little longer and come in from the beach the next time I go there! Beautiful collage full of interesting things! Sad to see the water lines. Fortunately for my mom, her water line from Ike was MUCH lower. Excellent shots!
