and again another mayfly landed on my balcony to live his/her last days it still fascinates me... so little a creature, but so complex a creation

Yes, you wonder about the amount of complexity in such a small creature don't you? They look so fragile and yet I believe they have been around longer than us..A superb image Juliette, and Thankyou:-)

Inderdaad, pas bij goeie macro's zoals deze, ziet mijn hoe wonderbaarlijk die ( en andere ) 'kleine krengen' er uitzien. Onder mijn microscoop kijk ik er me ook de ogen op uit.
