FInally we got a bit of sunshine, but the wind it blowing so strong, that I am afraid, my humming tree isnt humming much longer.

This is gorgeous, Helle! It's so sharp and clear ... when I opened it in full view, a bee flew out of the monitor and is buzzing around the room now. LOL! Excellent image!

LOL @ Tara... What a feast of lilac and pink.... I just love these flowers! They are very difficult to grow here as I believe they do not like the extreme heat so much! Excellent shot Helle!

My internet's flickering, but I'm gonna congratulate you on 1300 come hell or high water! I see Dave noticed 1300 (isn't that just like dave!), but everyone including Dave notices the quality of your work, and your absolute love for what you do. A beautiful image for 1300, and for the coming summer. You always tell me I can photograph flowers, and maybe the year 2020 I'll actually do a 'good' one (lol)! But with photos like these, I don't have to, because you do it all for me. This is beautiful, for the beautiful flow & undulations of the petals, for the liquid light, for the way it makes the flowers look like soft cloth, and the way the flowers are like light themselves. It's sensuous & radiant, helle! Congratulations on another milestone for one of the truly wonder-filled, endlessly creative, beautiful and always wholly loving galleries we have. With all the styles you do---and counting---sometimes a bunch of flowers can sum it all up. A luscious photo from one of our most wonderful artists. Congratulations dear friend!!!

Mark said it best, those flower petals DO look like soft cloth, finer than silk! The light in this is fantastic, and the whole image is so incredibly rich and soft and comfortable, it's like a blanket in a way, very cozy and warm and alive! I can almost smell the blossoms, and even feel them. It's funny how no matter what, flower images always seem to imply scent! This is superb work, Helle. I love the marvelous "little" details that make this so exciting.

I do like it and you have captured it beautifully. I have one with a black center the same colour called 'Bumblebee'. They make such a great show in the garden don't they.

they are beautiful, Helle, as is the shot of yours... we have those and some redder ones at the front of the old house of my parents, where my brother lives now, and he brings some branches with flowers to my mother every year...smile
