Vorzul was the creation of the mad wizard Thaltor. No one knows for sure what type of exotic creatures his blood is made of, no one but Thaltor himself, and he disappeared right around the time of Vorzul's birth. Vorzul was raised by his mother, Inak-Tera (an half-ogre mage, and a member of the barbarian clan of the bear) in the far northern reaches of the realm. He grew up learning how to fight from the warriors of the clan while learning the ways of magic from his mother. Shortly after his 75th birthday, Inak-Tera died of old age and Vorzul set out on a quest to find out more about himself. He travelled to the southern realms and sought out the Sylti Elves. After years of petitioning the elves, he was finally accepted into the Elven school of wizardry at the age of 100. After 20 some years of learning from the elven wizards, Vorzul once again set out on his own in search of the knowledge he so desired, the knowledge he knew he'd find if he ever found out what happened to the mad wizard. The elves had known of him, but were unsure of what had happened to him after he'd moved to the mountains of the north. Vorzul knew Thaltor was still alive, some how he could sense that much, but had know idea where he might be. According to the elves Thaltor travelled the dimensions as much as he did the realms, so Vorzul's quest was going to be a long and difficult one. He felt he was up to the task though and knew that with patience and persistence (and maybe a little luck) he would achieve his goal. Its been awhile since I tried any story telling with my images, and my brain seems to have gotten rusty! If I can get it oiled up and running right again, I will try to continue the story of Vorzul's quest for knowledge.
