BIO
This site is a collaboration between myself and Alexander Graham. Alex is someone who answered my call from a place, though far away, so close to my heart, and we work together towards the same goals with a shared vision of a better world, not just for a chosen few, but for everyone, everywhere. And we work for an understanding that there are other points of view and other opinions, and that open debate, along with all the other principles America was founded on, is what turns that diversity of perspective and prejudice into a strength instead of a weakness. That is what our work is devoted to: a better world for our children's children's children.Thank you for taking the time to visit.. Alexander and Lynn

This is a wonderful combination of a beautiful image and very insightful and moving words for Dave. I like staircases that are out in the open and have twists. Our lives have strange twists too among the ups and downs. The reflection reminds me that whatever happens to us in our physical existence, is seen in reflection on our spiritual soul. Your words and image for Dave show your great caring and understanding. Most excellently done!

Lynn, you are so sweet and I'm the one who is lucky to be blessed with a wonderful friend like you. Thank you so much for this lovely birthday dedi and for your friendship which means the world to me. I know you have been through so much for some time now and for you to take the time to put this together for me despite everything really touched me. I love this beautiful staricase that you captured so well and as always your right that the reflection is where the real magic is at. As Lucinda pointed out it can almost be like a reflection of our soul, or for that matter of an alternate and beautiful world. Thank you again for this one my friend and please don't apologize as I didn't tell anyone it was my birthday because I know people have enough to worry about without adding my birthday to the mix. But it seems my dear friend Mark has an amazing memory and let it out. Thank you again for putting this together in such a short time and for making it something I'll always treasure.

First on the image, I love the play of stairwells here...in fact we can't tell if they're one stairwell with reflections, or two in different hues, etc. (That ambiguity is the essence of reflections in glass.) The two different tones---front & back---give depth to the image and make it almost a variation on a theme. And the formal language of metal elements crisscrossing the gridwork on the mirror/glass, and being punctuated by those lights, is what these malls & spaces are all about. You've gotten real richness from this place, and I hope you go back and find more. And as for the dedi...well I don't have to tell you how much I (and everyone else) love Sir Dave, and all he does for everyone. I know you go back with dave, and your words are very touching & true & show real history; and I see how much he's moved by them. Beautiful words & image for "our dave," and I wish him a happy birthday once more---though late, lol---and I hope you, Lynn, are doing well this second full day of summer, and are getting through the medical matters of the last few months with all the strength you can muster. Beautiful dedi image, and a fine tribute to one of RR's favorites.

WOW. Oooh! This is incredibly nice. The dedication is fantastic and moving, and the image itself is quite stunning. This kinda vaguely reminds me of the National Library in Prague (only without a bar...gotta love Czech libraries...you can read AND get snockered without changing location!) You picked the best POV for this, as it highlights the slanted sweep and bend in the stairs, and yeah, I like the light quality in this too. It's a bit of a cinematic shot as well: those stairs are just begging for a woman in an elegant evening gown to flow down and exchange witty dialogue with the guy waiting for her. I love it when pictures send me off in directions like that; it shows that the pictures themselves have so much going on. And this has a LOT going on and a LOT going for it. I like this a lot!
