Description
Yesterday I went to my friend Delia's house to sooth my anxious soul after an electronic collapse. I'm using another computer, while waiting for tomorrow's response. Delia lives in the northern part of the province of Padova, once a flat, marshy land good for the cultivation of rice and mosquitoes, but currently the richest part of the province, dotted by factories and wealthy farmers.
Delia hosts a colony of cats, and yesterday I happened to witness a moment of an agitated courtship. The she-cat on the foreground was very nervous and skittish, and covered a flank with the tree and her back with myself behind her. A tortoise shell tomcat feigned indifference, as if he was going to sit elsewhere, while another was waiting, ready to seize his moment. Just a few seconds later action broke loose and all disappeared among the high hedges nearby.
Thanks for your kind comments.

Sorry for your electronic collapse! I will keep my fingers crossed that you have a full recovery! Being a cat lover, this is an especially wonderful scene for me. My wife and I had six cats under our roof for the past year. Only in the past week did our grandaughter pick up her cat that has been boarding with us. We felt her boy cat would be lonely, so we let her take one of the female cats. They all seem to be doing better in this less crowded space, but Scruffy seems to miss his playmate, Kovu at times. Thanks again for this wonderful photo! Great capture!

Beautiful image and wonderful capture! I love the walking cat's casual walk that fools no one! The lady does seem to be hunkered down defensively. She looks a lot like one of my cats. Excellent POV! I like the way the branches border the image and the zigzagged path of light.

Hoping your p.c. doesn't give you troubles anymore. But, WOW what a very good photo. Great shot and atmosphere. Not only this mood on this pad, but of course the action with this cats.

Wonderful green scene with the characters framed by those terrific leaves

Cats! Such amazing creatures! It's funny how they feign indifference in so many ways, even during wooing! Oh, and this is the season for cats wooing! Needless to say, I really like this capture immensely! It's full of life and atmosphere, and the expression on the walking cat's face is priceless, just the sort of indifference cats are so good at expressing, even when they're not actually indifferent! Fantastic capture. I love the mood of it and the sense of vibrant, green color!
