Ahh Pascale, I see you. I've been here several times. I needed to think this piece of art over. There is so much to see and feel here. First time, my jaw fell open. Second time, I smiled. This is intense, as has been said before! I love the fact that this seems to be more of an emotional photograph than an objective one. For me, photography works best when the photography in question is more subjective than objective. Images of things are great, but images of feelings always stretch the boundaries of what photography can accomplish and this is a great example of that. It's a simple image, but it can hold countless different meanings. The fact that this is in black and white adds to the emotional intensity and richness...I love black and white simply because it's inherently emotional, in my opinion, at least. This is fantastic!
