Description

The Ecene woman who led her British people against the Romans. She died trying. Victory in death? A heroine for sure. The darkness creeps into this image just as the Roman army took her life and the lives of many of her followers. Today has been cold with heavy squalls of rain, in between spells of glorious warm sunshine...and something has been eating the petals of my orange violas! Not a caterpillar, nor a sedentary bug that I can see. It eats only the flowers, aside from the rhubarb leaves. A truly grotesque mix: sweet orange flowers laced with very toxic rhubarb leaves. No accounting for taste, I suppose. I hope you have a lovely day, as many of you will be just waking up as I lie down to sleep. Funny world! Thankyou for looking.
