Description

Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) can be both the fruit and the plant of a vine-like (scrambler and trailer) herb originally from southern Africa and one of the most common types of melon. This is a young wild one taken a little north of Cape Town. Juicy! Clive

WOW Clive - two in one!!! That curly shadow is absolutely superb!!! I'm trying to remember what they call the melon in afrikaans, but it has completely slipped my mind!!! I see it is a wet evening tonight in Cape Town for the game!!! Grrr...
