Description

Pretty as they may be I want winter back. Tomorrow is supposed to break all-time records at 94 degrees and expected to last at least five more days. And it is not even summer's soltice yet. Must move somewhere cooler.... The way I figure it it's either Seattle, Paris or New Zealand.

Very pretty coneflower, I captured an image of a purple one this week. It is very warm,,,sorry HOT and HUMID here too. Low was 81F. Don't want winter.. spring or fall would be nice. :)

I am with you! We didn't catch a record high but it was 98 degrees yesterday! Beautiful shot of the coneflowers and the composition is really working.

Or Dorset, England. Today in the space of a meal in a pub garden I have worn a strappy vest, then a cotton sweater over it, then needed a fleece and then could have done with a waterproof for a few moments. And I should love you as a neighbour! Great pic, by the way.

I like this. Are the petals supposed to droop down like that or are they wilting in the heat? It got up to 91 here the other day, but in typical Chicago fashion, it was only 64 the next day with a chilly wind. So now half the city has a head cold.Chicago is like that. I think I've had a head cold for the entire 25 years I've lived here! It's been raining for five days straight now... great shot.
