Description

Text for my Bryce design of the same title. Which should be viewed large to really appreciate the effects of oily mats. Inspired by British Petroleum's CEO, Tony Hayward, who made the outrageous "I want my life back" comment. Sure, we can clean the beaches, etc. What about all the fish and aquatic mammals that are being killed by underwater giant oil plumes? We've seen AP photos of dead Dolphins washed ashore in Louisiana, Mississippi & Alabama to date...I think it's safe to assume we'll be seeing whale carcasses soon enough. Those underwater giant oil plumes, according to NOAA scientists interviewed on CNN, will be polluting Europe's beaches in a few months; undoubtedly killing schools of fish by the tons on the way...Any one have any idea what tons of rotting sea life will do to the ocean environment? I think when England & Europe get hit with the massive pollution like our North American Gulf Coast is experiencing, BP's stock value may fall to Farthing value! Gee, Tony, I hope you get your life back too, me auld chum! Thanks for reading & viewing. this wouldn't happen if we grew hemp massively...we could fuel a lot of engines with that oil, make plastics, etc. Oil magnates keep alternative technologies from developing deliberatelly . They don't give a leaping f--k about the enviroment or the people, only care for their riches. You heard about the machine that separates oil from seawater? Well, I swear I saw that on a tv program in Spain when I was a kid...so go figure! This oil people are a bunch of criminals, not only BP but the whole shoobang of them. Great oily image,Sazz, illustrating perfectly the drama comming nearer and nearer to us all, aquatic and terrestrial...

Nice oil commentary, and image!! Well we should all do without our cars, buses, trains, trucks, planes, motorbikes, ships, boats, plastic everything, space shuttles, oil heating, etc and then none of this would have happened.. Unfortunately its people buying stuff that keeps this going. We could do away with millions of jobs worldwide that rely on oil based products and they wouldn't be rich oil companies, if we didn't keep using stuff made of oil or oil by products.. back to sailing ships to move round the world.. and horse and cart..and bicycle..
