Description

This is Poas, which is another active volcano in Costa Rica. The photo was taken from the window of a commercial airplane as I returned to the United States. Poas is the most visited National Park in this small Central American nation. Visitors can walk to the edge of the crater and look into this massive opening. The "pond" on the left of the image is the old non-active crater. Thanks for visiting the image and for any comments.
