Description
This Mullein grows in a place where it shouldnt, but I cannot bare to kill it, so I let it grow and it will be HUGE and I suppose very beautiful too :-)
It is s fun plant and so full of hair, that it looke like filt, as you can see. I got a link for you if you are more interested.

Lovely capture. I can certaily understand your rewluctance to kill it. A weed is only a weed if it is unwanted.. in this case, that makes it a flower :)

It looks like velvet. It also looks like a very complicated velvet starfish, or some other interesting creature! Well, plants are interesting creatures, they just don't walk around! I really love the details in this, and the pattern of those leaves. The color is fantastic. I haven't seen anything exactly like this; I've seen similar plants, but not of this species, and so I'm glad to see it now. I followed the link, and you know, I definitely think you're right to leave it where it is. Let it grow HUGE, and then when the flowers grow, you can photograph them too! This is really great, Helle. I should see if any of these have been transplanted to the USA.

Weeds are just plants that are growing where you don't want them. So in order for this to NOT be a weed, just decide it's exactly where you wanted it! LOL! You see, weeding can be very simple and low impact. :P
