Description

A bit more detail on the Klingon ship. I wanted to get a more "painty" render, so a lot of postwork in PS using various AlienSkin filters (love those guys). The planets were made in Photoshop using a tutorial I found a while back. The models made in Wings. All rendered in Carrara. I didn't create the background. Guess I should find a way to create a nebula next. Probably best to look at the full sized image since it's 2000 pixels wide. Thanks for looking.

I use a few colourful 4D clouds in Carrara to make my nebulas these days, and they look pretty good. You can use the normal cloud primative, but their preset shape can make your nebula look kind of fake.
