Well, Murphy and the B-dog have been searching because they insisted that I missed Dave's Birthday .. and they were right. They found it, so here I am, wishing Dear Dave (Magnus073) a Happy Belated Birthday! But I don't feel too bad, because a belated wishes keep the celebration going longer, right Dave? Now you you need to have more cake and ice cream, because we can't celebrate your birthday without you celebrating too!! Hope it was a wonderful day, and all your wishes came true. Our wish for you is that the year ahead is filled with joy, good fortune, and good health. Bits of my photos merged with another of my photos. Thank you to all who stopped to look, and thank you to all who left wonderful and greatly appreciated and enjoyed comments, and thank you for the faves as well. Am still working on catching up. Much work to do in the garden .. I've reclaimed it this year, so much neglect to attend to and repair. By the time the end of the day comes, I'm glad I can stay awake enough to catch up in one or two galleries! There is still so much beautiful work left to see and comment on.

And if you're wondering just where is the B-Dog? he's off to the left in the high grasses, if you look really carefully you can just barely see him! Murphy of course being the little terrier he is, is announcing that they've found Dave's Birthday!!

Awwww...too precious, Rita! This just plain makes me giggle. It's such a perfect Dave b-day image, and he's sure to love it. Ahh, those terriers, eh? They'll always vocalize what's on their minds, that's for sure. Murph's obviously a confident little lovey. So does the B-dog always ensure this much mystery? lol Again, happy birthday, dear Dave...I second the sentiment on the bday wishes and year ahead. :)

I'm so glad you're keeping the birthday wish/dedis going - because I still need to post a dedi and I've just been too busy to keep my thoughts together - lol... as far as merging your pictures - FANTASTIC JOB! I zoomed in to try and find a seem or two - you're good, really good.... so, when are you going to merge a big foot photo? LOL... Last year on the net some fool said he had big foot in his freezer - lol... he had a dead body but not big foot - lol

This is so cute and Murphy looks like he's singing because he found "it." I tryed to reclaim my garden this year or anyway planned on it but the weather has been so terrible it is now a mix of weeds taller then me and some flowers.

first, the picture itself is just the best, it really is beautiful (with andrea & others), a great shot of Murphy doing what dogs do, barking at god-knows-what, and telling everyone it's dave's birthday on top of it. (The flowers may want to know!) It doesn't matter how late you are, you celebrated---that's all that matters (I am late with 1/2 the people in my life). And you celebrated one of our dearest & kindest & most supportive members. And what a great shot, too. Hard to explain, but the image is perfect for dave, because it's homey, it's about family, it's about dear family (pets are family, through & through), it's about childhood, it's about family doing things with each other (yes I see the other dog messin' around back there---I want to be a dog just once so I can do these things in public and not have to worry about how I look!), and about simple beautiful nature. Mountains would be fine for Dave, don't get me wrong; but an intimate setting feels perfect because Dave is so personal & intimate with everyone he knows. And it's wonderful how you have the sun in the background, as if it's 'always there' protecting this shaded area. (That could be dave too.) A lush & lovely shot, and perfect for our friend to whom I say, once again), happy birthday! See---you're one loved guy! Wonderful, Rita! You couldn't have picked a better image, and I looooove the shot of Murphy and the surrounding nature. Terrific sunny & lush. Bravo.

What a beautiful spot for Murphy to find Dave's birthday, couldn't have been better. I love these sort of places and I can imagine all the bees working the flowers and enjoying the spot too. Excellent work with the manipulation too he looks quite at home.

This is a wonderful portrait of the baying Murph. Handsome little boy. Know what you mean about in late and too tired. I've fallen asleep at least 4 times just getting from the mailbox to here. Oh, a p.s.....when's your birthday?
