Description
Mare Novum, the mining outpost on Tau 4 is a harsh and arid place.
This was made in Bryce 6 over a couple of days. Most of the buildings are textured primatives and the docked ship is from Renderosity. I forget who made it, sorry.
I worked hard on several areas; the perspective was important and the effect on the atmosphere. Textures were also important and spent a lot of time in the materials lab!
The sense of a harsh and empty environment was important. I think I nailed it! This is one of my favourites.
