Description

SKNY-010 or Skinny for short. Yep, I sent 3 of em up to the 5 & Dime for some cookin out supplies. It's taken them all morning. Maybe they've met up with some dates or something, who knows. If you can't depend on Skinnies, who can you depend on, ya know? I've been trying to make my own version of some movie bots. This guy is sort of a cross between, those guys in Nine, I,robot, and Star Wars. The chest spot light happened by accident and trying to get the accent colors to accent but not overwhelm is a tricky thing too. I love the idea of these guys sporting different colors and having specialized jobs and co-existing with us. Background picture was taken in Cape Cod last year and the robots were rendered in there. I made up the bags with the store name to go along with. Hope you like! Enjoy.

I love the big version. Reminds me of going to the grocery store, when I was younger. Those were the days... :)

Amusing and well done image! Fairly good merge of BG image and robots. GREAT design work on 5&dime. Seems like a real name. Those are great sacks! That is harder than making robots in my opinion. The robots have a realistic sheen to them. You did good.

Pretty damn cool and good to see a new image from you. I got to finally use She-Bot on my last render. Looking forward to more creations!

Those goofy bots, always walking by the house and making the neighbor's dog bark. Well, it turns out I found this bunch with an open address on the WIFI. Not only that, but they had an easy to use web-style admin terminal with weak security. (I mean who in their right mind would leave the name as Admin and the password as password? Honestly, where's the "hack" in that?) So I figured it'd be fun to send them out on an a little path-finding expedition and street view photo junket. Whoever owns them can only hope those groceries don't spoil by the time they're done with this new assignment issued to them. Word to the wise, if you send your bots out on errands - make sure you secure them properly.

There is one thing about your work that really bugs me...you don't post that often. Man you stuff ALWAYS ROCKS!!!! Come on guy, get some more images for us. Seriously though, I am a huge fan of yours. The realistic quality to your work is inspiring. Excellent job.

Thanks Raddar, I really appreciate that. I guess I have a "not good enough" complex so many things don't see the light of day.

Impressive and gorgeous work on the bots! Love the glossy 'skin' and reflections, all the smooth contours and 'humaness' -they definitely have their own character! Really super and fun image 10+
