Description
I kept looking at my last picture "Peaceful" and it just didn't feel quite right. So I changed the camera angle and rearranged the pier. Now I like it better I hope you do as well.
Thanks for looking and for your kind comments on the last version.
Hope you have a great weekend.

Both images are excellent, but I slightly prefer this version as the eagle is more prominent. The tree on the left also works well to frame the image and help focus on the bird. Wonderful details, as always.

I have been considering this for some time. It is hard to call because there are elements that I strongly prefer in each image. Overall I prefer the second, so I'll start with the things I like better with the first. I like the pier, though I have to add that I also like the extended reflection of the tree and the darker partial circle at the bottom right of the second image. The pier in the second image doesn't really add anything to the picture in my view, though the reflections are nice. I like the pier as a focal point, along with the eagle, and as an imaginary place of entry. I like the island (peninsula) area better in the first image. I like the light and crispness of it better and its separation, surrounded by water. The area is quite pretty in the second image, but not as special for me. In the second one I very much like the deeper tones. While great in the first, the larger Eagle and new splash are a definite improvement. There is a difference in the ripples which I only noticed when comparing the two. The second looks like a more integral part of the water (does that make sense?) I like the turtle rocks better without the extra vegetation in front of them and I like the way they are framed by the trees in the foreground. Both images are beautiful! I'd love to enter either image and spend an afternoon there!
