Description
A quick post to let everyone know I'm back in the building.
Will be trying to put things back on track the next day or two and in that time shall visit all whom have kindly left their mark in my gallery.
Have just finished the Nikon transfer program. Their being some 1200 plus images must have taxed the transfer some as they are completely out of order. It may take me a day or two getting that straightened out. ;~), especially with the kids being out of school now.
Wanting to post the images in some semblance of chronological order to the hike. Yet I find myself overly anxious to post a sandstone image. Have chosen this as an innocuous start though it is out of order.
The title chosen here is a cliche of the old brain teaser, "Is it half empty or half full"
Whether your a viewer, commented, rater, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you.

Beautiful view and landscape capture.

Thanks for clarifying the size, I was thinking that it must be a lot larger than it appears. Great shot, I colors are striking! Beautiful, I look forward to the rest.

I have organised myself a new system of commenting (for sake of sanity) which I'm determined to follow in a more or less dogged manner. So it may take me a while to get to all of your sandstone images, which I love, but I will eventually. Thanks for the note on the size. I wouldn't have thought it so big. Beautiful image! With all the surrounding sand it really made me think of the process of sand becoming sandstone. The one in the back looks like it is tilted, like it slipped in the sand. It even has a drunken grin. Great title!
