Description

Well, folks, here we are... 2 days from now, I'll be on a plane with my hubby, my special-needs puppy, and a buncha luggage... heading across the US... yup, moving day. *chuckles* Several months of hard work, a lot of tears, a slightly broken (cracked) ankle, several wasp stings, and a 6-week long yard sale... all culminating in this - The Great Move. LOL. Anyways... I doubt I'll be able to finish any other images before I have to reformat the "beast", dissassemble, and reassemble a few doors down (the person who bought my computer told me to keep it until the day before i left, as he knows how it helps keep me sane)... so, you get this one as my final image for now... A Lil Lost. Strange, this - I had nothing intended when I started, really - except that the prop itself looked really desolate and lonely... kids make great poignant statements, so in went K4. The camera tilting was originally an error, but i liked the effect it gave - as if things weren't balanced anymore... sort of how i've been feeling for a while LOL. but, looking at it more, i realize.. it is still, as most of my work is... a statement about my life. i'm a lil lost.... a new chapter in my life is about to begin... and I have noooooo clue what's going to unfold. I've never been one for "spur of the moment" and "winging" things. I'm the girl who in 1st grade, carried tweezers, nail clippers, bandaids, etc - just "in case". I like things planned out. VERY LITTLE is currently actually PLANNED. Winging it seems to be the mode of the summer... Heaven help us all. LOL. Maybe, just maybe... someone can give this lil lost person a map... *giggles* Anyways... I hope to be able to pop in now and then, but no promises until my life settles again - sometimes in the fall. Great image, it does convey a sense of being lost, as many of us are right now. I'm a "stay in one place" kind of person, but even I know that sometimes you have to take a chance on winging it, you never know where it will lead you, often not where you originally intended.
