I was so lucky to have my dad
all those years it all ended at 91 years of age
The pictures of my dad and I
are no longer very clear
but the memories I carry in my heart
are forever warm and dear:

And if you still have a dad remember him today
tell him you love him show in every way
And if you are a dad be a great one
leave something good behind ,
great times ,a great smile,and a proud man
hard worker and always kind ,those are the memories he left in my mind :
He is forever missed

In the picture with my curly hair (lol) my dad came from Montreal to NY to be at his grandsons wedding as my son was in the US air force there I flew to NY from California and we had a great time my dad was the best partner when it came to dancing boy could he dance ** The other picture is when i went to Montreal and he took me to the race track and gave me money to gamble with I won my horse came in ,I forget how much it was but it was not peanuts it was a good amount for those days: my dad could be a lot of fun:: do you have any stories,memories of your dad for today:: thanks for commenting if you do:: evie

oh yes I remeber my dad, who passed away last year and who would have been 87 tomorrow... he was a wonderful dad and a very special and charming person

Beautiful image here sis And your words bought tears to my eyes I was a daddy's girl...when I was born they found out I had a hole in my heart,,,now known as VSD or Ventricular Septal Defect....they didn't think I would live to be a teenager...so I was spoiled spoiled..LOL....On Pixieluna's new image I left this same message....Saturaday and Sunday nights were my special time with my dad.....On Sat he would take me to the library......it was there I learned how to go to far away places in my dreams........by picking up a book and reading......I guess that is why I still read all time....Dad got me hooked early I was in love with the Hardy Boys forever LOL...then I progressed on up to Nancy Drew..I have an original book by her....first printing 1959..it even has the old time sketches in the book for a particular scene...remember those? that is how old this book is......The Secret of the Old Clock....and on Sunday nights after church Daddy and me would set in front of the tv to watch our show Bonanza..LOL...mom would be off in the kitchen muttering to her self saying they would watch any old stupid western show......LOL...I would wait in front of the picture window for him to come home from work...and esp on bad weather like snow he worked the highway dept...and would get called out early..I would be scared to death until I saw our old green car pull in the drive.....oh there are more but those 2 I love............ TY for such a beautiful tribute to your dad And thanks for reading this novel on mine...LOL...sorry got carried away Hugs Your sis Susan~~~
