Description

This gull patiently waits for the fishermen to finish up before scrounging for the scraps left behind. Which of course it did along with a dozen other like-minded adversaries of its kind... and within a few seconds it was over. The scraps gobbled down by just a lucky few... I shot this in '04 with my old Olympus C4000z from Bel Cara Park about 40 minutes east of Vancouver BC. The houses in the background are in the small community of Deep Cove, across the inlet from where this was taken.
