Description

Rendered in Bryce 6.1. Postwork in PS7. The next morning, the Lion, Faun/Prince and golden bot went to visit the Oracle. He told them that Hans and Greg were very close to achieving the level of skill the Oracle felt they needed to survive on this quest. The Faun/Prince asked the Oracle, ‘Where or what is this quest we are on? I know that to get there, we will have to face many tests of our skill and endurance. But just what is this place?’ The Oracle answered, ‘Ursvansol is the fabled and mystical OverLord King’s castle in the sky. Many have sought it. Few have been allowed to find it. The great OverLord King is very selective whom he allows to enter. His powers are far reaching and almost irresistable. I can feel his mind probing mine right now.’ Then the Lion spoke. ‘Ursvansol is where my allegiance lies. I was born in the shadow of its mountains and raised in the castle of the great OverLord King. He sent you and me to Hans and Greg’s dimension because he could feel their sincere desire to do something for their world. By bringing them here, he intends to demonstrate to them that they need not feel frustrated when trying to correct situations that have gone terribly bad, as in their dimension. By putting Hans and Greg to this Quest test, he hopes to give them some invaluable skills they can use to right some of the wrongs in their own dimension upon their return.’ Thank you for taking a peek! Eeeexcellent. I'm thinking that the skills they are going to need are discipline, strength of character, and the willingness to face adversity head on. Because if they're from this world, the ability to use a sword will not be very useful, while the others are invaluable. Looking forward to more.
