Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Excellent capture! Still chilly to me, I've been getting 90F with thunderstorms everyday for the past few weeks. Huh! No fishies hiding in the water drops. ;D

This is a gorgeous photo! It looks like rain-stress coupled with intense sunlight; I read somewhere that water on the leaves (or petals) can amplify sunlight like a magnifying glass and actually cause damage too, so I wonder if that's what happened here also. At any rate, you've created a wonderful photograph and the damaged petals even look nice. The colors are beautifully intense and rich, even the damaged brown is quite rich in color. The lighting is fantastic as well.

yes, rain can play havoc, and it really shows in this flower & its leaves. But you have to know, the capture is gentle & delicate, and you caught all the strange & beautiful permutations of decay. In spots, it almost looks like stained or tinted glass. And the water is delicate too, as is your soft focus in back & surroundings. In fact, the choice to use such a dark background is a fine one, because it solos the flowers and makes them feel like a gift. I'm sorry for your comfrey---I know your spring left a lot to be desired. (Remember that Icelandic volcano, and how it effected Europe's climate; I'm sure that has something to do with it.) But you still transformed a sad half-damaged plant into an object of beauty & delicacy, and that's a statement about you as a photographer. I think it's a beautiful shot.

Beautiful color (even the bruising!) and light, and the drops are stunning. We had an actual summer day here today, too. Amazing!

Nature is not always light with its habitants and this world which is a little with towards like a little everywhere on this planet.
