Description

When Dave (hubby) came back from Meadows & Jasmines walk this morning, he said he had seen a deer on the park. So how could I not go back with him & Jasmine (camera at the ready) for Carla 'B's walk to see if I could spot it. Unfortunately, I didn't find it. The Munsters are bred to hunt deer, so I would have liked their reaction to seeing one :o) I can assure you Jasmine was well & truly anchored on the lead so if we had seen it it wouldn't have been disturbed. For the next couple of days the girls will be lead walked on the park just in case!!!!! As always Carla 'B' did her own thing & didn't come through the kissing gates with us & stayed on the other side of the fence until I went & got her :o) Thanks for the lovely comments, so appreciated. xxx

A great shot. We have deer come on our property and it is always a special treat to see them. They are so beautiful, and can hop over very tall objects effortlessly and silently. CC

Excellent capture! You could have brought them to the spot he saw it so they could pick up the scent and follow it. But be prepared for a fast past walk. ;D

Great shot here Barbara, and it appears she had more important things on her mind.

Lovely shot! You should come on up to Staffordshire - we have herds of deer all over Cannock Chase Forest. See them often but rarely have my camera on me when I do. Remember a couple of years back we were driving through at night on our way to Wales and a herd ran across the road right in front of our car. Flailing arms everywhere but fortunately only mine - hubby's stayed on the wheel and his foot on the brake !! We missed them all but heaven knows how !

What a terrific photo Barbara, its a pity that you never saw the deer it would have been good to see how the girls would react to it..

Beautiful picture of Carla 'B' following her own drummer! We see deer on occasion and I feel quite badly for them because of all the development going up in our area.

Nasty barb wire - I know it is needed in places but still don't like it. Great shot Barbara. Beautiful contrast! Dana

This is a really great shot Barbara, and in fact one of your best for sure. She really does look so beautiful looking for the deer. Hmmm I wonder where it came from in the first place, didn't know we had deer just near us?? hugs and love Janice and gang xxx
