HOOFERS IT’S BIG!!! It’s coming to our MADHOUSE’S magnificent MIDWAY Hall of Mirrors … doarte’s Drama Department and the world renowned corps de ballet are soon to appear in the German composer Engelbert Humperdinck’s 19th Century opera HANSEL UND GRETAL. As you can see from the pictured “sylvan satyr dancers”: doarte’s scene designers have adapted photographic techniques popular in the 1800’s to create our modern SHADES backgrounds for contemporary artwork; not only with a ‘vintage spirit” but for creative artists who express their imagination in children’s stories, fairy tales and fantasies. doarte Thank you so much for viewing and comments. What a grand way to start day off with a visit to Doarte's MADHOUSE. It has been a while since the doors last opened and seeing the new exhibit makes it clear why the wait. The sylvan satyr dancers are amazing, and a fine addition to one of my favorite places to visit.
