Description
Such a weird reason to take a photo.... But while in the grocery store I heard an oldish song I really like and the lyrics caught my attention as to what white on white would look like in photographyland. I was amazed of how many ordinary white things are not white in the camera's eye. I tried pure white gumballs and salt crytals and other white stuff but all were were quite yellowish. But the white paperclips on white photo paper cooperated and were the closest to white on white.
As to the lyrics that caught my ear- "Step out the front door like a ghost
Into the fog where no one notices
The contrast of white on white.
And in between the moon and you
Angels get a better view

Marvellous! The holiday 'homework' we had to do BEFORE my first term at art sscool was to collect 64 different whites as 1" squares and mount then as a big square. I still have it somewhere, but it would be fun to do it again, maybe digitally!

Photographic minimalism is always good in my book and the difference in whites...no wonder we have difficulty getting our white balance (WB) just right:)
